Valuable Ukrainian Graduates in Eastern Europe

Last week, we’ve made a post showing that Ukraine is still Eastern Europe’s best destination for outsourcing, taking into account such indicators as the number of freelance IT developers, and total number of orders received and completed. It is the Ukrainian IT specialists that are the main asset which are causing this kind of leadership in the market. Before becoming an IT specialist, a person should receive a technical education from an outstanding Technical University. What Ukrainian universities prepare the most valuable IT graduates? Graduates from Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv Universities were the most popular among IT outsourcing companies in Eastern Europe in 2014. The graduates from these Universities completed the most orders for foreign customers. The largest number of Ukrainian freelance IT specialists graduated from The Kharkiv National University of Radio and Electronics and from The National Technical University of Ukraine,  and Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The top 5 ranking Universities in this category also includes Omsk, Minsk, and Zaporizhzhya, according to the a report prepared by the IT recruiting service top$dev.

This study was performed using data from the largest freelance sites, with more than 88,000 profiles of freelance developers and 260,000 projects. For this purpose top$dev used the profiles from such sites as oDesk, and others.
