Please, find below the list of public holidays in Ukraine for the year of 2011. Please note that if a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, then the holiday is transferred to the following Monday or Tuesday.

  • January 1 (Saturday) – New Year’s Day(day off is on Monday, January 3)
  • January 7 (Friday) – Orthodox Christmas Day
  • March 8 (Tuesday) – International Women’s Day
  • April 24 (Sunday) – Orthodox Easter (day off is on Monday, April 25)
  • May 1-2 (Sunday & Monday) – International Labor Days (day off is on Tuesday, May 3)
  • May 9 (Monday) – Victory Day
  • June 12(Sunday) – Orthodox Pentecost (day off is on Monday, June 13)
  • June 28 (Tuesday) – Constitution Day
  • August 24 (Wednesday) – Ukrainian Independence Day
