In 2008 the global IT services market experienced growth due to an increased number of firms using solutions such as the outsourcing.
The new research from Gartner, the world’s largest technology business research authority, revealed that worldwide IT services revenue increased to the total of $806 billion last year as compared to the $745 billion recorded in 2007.
The researchers for Gartner’s worldwide IT services group stated that in 2008 IT services companies experienced eight months of normal operations while the remaining four were impacted by the global crisis.
“The only two segments of the market that grew less than forecast were IT management and process management,” continued Gartner.
The analysts also believe this result to be surprising since more businesses were expected to increase their IT outsourcing in order to streamline the cost savings which outsourcing offers.
Another industry analyst, IDC, in one of their statements mentioned that the current economic climate impacts more companies encouraging them to consider outsourcing to cut their IT expenditures.

It is true that IT services have entered everybody’s hold up thereby creation the lives a lot easier, but how easier can it get when you are going to outsource your IT services.
