Continuing the topic of software testing, in this post we would like to present you a case study describing a project in which Softheme provided functional and UI testing services to moveme.com, a UK-based web portal.
A new web startup from London, moveme.com, which provides an online moving organizer for home-owners in the UK, turned to Softheme with the need to test their online tool. Since it is the company’s primary business application, they needed the testing to be performed very carefully and within established timeline which was accomplished by Softheme successfully.
In terms of the project Softheme’s mission consisted of several tasks. First of all, our QA team had to create test cases basing on which the further testing was conducted. Next, our test engineers performed website functionality and UI usability testing of moveme.com which took about one month. After that, our company dedicated a team of 1 to 3 experts who tested the application from time to time, approximately 2-3 weeks per month, conducting regression testing and testing of newly added functionalities.
Due to the high level of professionalism of Softheme’s QA team, the project was delivered on time and the client’s website currently operates as required. The hard work and dedication of our test engineers helped the online move planner tool of the customer to become one of the UK’s most visited websites. We are glad that moveme.com, the honorees of such awards as NMA Best New Business Award 2007, Yahoo! Innovation Award 2007, and Yahoo! People’s Choice Award 2007, have appreciated our expertise and have chosen Softheme as their partners for the project.
As of 2009, our mutual collaboration with moveme.com numbers 15 months already, and we hope to continue our successful partnership in future.
